When to sail
Hurricane season is a Florida problem, not an Alaska problem.
Atlantic hurricane season runs June 1–November 30. Caribbean and Bahamas home ports live in it. Alaska and the Mediterranean do not. The planner layers that on US school holidays so you do not accidentally buy spring-break prices for a quiet week.
Weather, storms, and school calendar →Late April – early June
Spring break is over, Alaska is just opening, and Caribbean rates beat winter. One of the best couples windows.
May and September in Europe
Mediterranean without August heat or August prices. Celebrity and Virgin from Barcelona.
Early June Caribbean
Hurricane season has started on paper; storm activity is usually still low. Better fares than March.
First three weeks of November
Storm season is winding down, Thanksgiving has not hit. A quietly excellent Florida departure window.
